Subject: Frida Kahlo
Birth Information: 7/6/1907 ~ 08:30:00 ~ Coyoacán, Distrito Federal Mexico
Latitude: 19N19'44

Frida Kahlo was a 20th-century artist whose surrealist paintings reflected themes of the cultural identity of her Mexican heritage and her struggles with chronic illness. Success and recognition as an artist would come late in life for her. Today, Kahlo is seen as one of the most significant female artists of the 20th century, particularly in Mexico where her art is considered part of its cultural heritage and is protected as a national treasure.
Kahlo’s life was filled with lifelong health issues, relationship struggles, and career setbacks. This makes her chart perfect for astrological exploration as these are often the most important areas of life that individuals seek advice from astrologers about.
The 1st House: Leo
Kahlo was a Leo Ascendant. Typically, Leo Ascendants are people who have a strong will and sense of themselves. They are intelligent people who like to be noticed and acknowledged. Like a lion on a mountain or the sun in the sky, they tend to want to shine over and dominate their environment and those around them. This can make for a bold, adventurous, and ambitious soul. They can be dramatic and react personally to things because so much of their self-esteem is tied to their identity and actions in life.
The path of Leo is the path of a king who is willing to make any sacrifices necessary in order to establish and ensure the success of their kingdom. Their strong sense of self, while beneficial for establishing their realms, can put stress on partnerships as the urge to rule and dominate can be hard to lay aside for some.
Mars and Ketu are the only planets rasi aspecting the 1st House.
Mars is exalted and it will bring passion and a desire to exercise one’s will through activity to the 1st House of the body and personality. This can also make for a very willful personality that will fight for what they strongly believe is right, which will bring a lot of frustration and pain as the things the individual fights for are never quite won to their satisfaction. This will be amplified by Mars’ retrogression, which will distort the expression of one’s will. This generates behaviors such as picking fights over trivial things and impulsively manipulating others just to prove to themselves they have power and control over them.
The presence of Ketu with Mars is significant as Ketu works through Mars. Ketu in the 6th indicates a person who in past lifetimes derived security through the application of hard work and intelligence to overcome life’s difficulties. That worthwhile success comes through the application of appropriate effort. In this lifetime, external security will be unfulfilled, leading one into a state of fear, doubt, and uncertainty as this external security becomes unrealized. The goal of the Lunar Nodes is to generate better inner security to meet the outer instability that is going to be part of the person’s life experience.
Mercury is in the 1st House in a great friend’s dignity, giving manifesting strength through a sharp, inquiring mind. Mercury is aVaishya planet, which can bring skills as an artist or tradesperson. Mercury rules the 2nd and 11th House and its excellent dignity indicate a strong capacity to earn through one’s own efforts and realize the success of their ambitions through social relationships. Kahlo taught herself how to paint. She developed her skills after a childhood bus accident left her bedridden for three months. Kahlo was also a member of the Communist Party and it was through her political activism that Kahlo made important connections that would help establish her career and reputation as an artist. One such connection was with fellow Communist and artist Diego Rivera, Kahlo’s future husband. Mercury is also Kahlo’s Darakaraka, which tells us that her spouse will be an important aspect of her 1st House bodily experience.
1st Lord: Sun
Sun is both the Lagna lord and also the natural karaka of the self, indicating that Kahlo’s path in life was strongly focused on 12th House themes of the loss of worldly concerns for more subconscious and spiritual pursuits. The 12th is also confinement. Kahlo would spend long periods confined to her bed due to chronic illness. The Sun is in a great friend’s dignity in the 12th. It is also in a Yuva state and is Svapna, indicating the karmas associated with the Sun are at their peak and are something Kahlo is starting to become consciously aware of.
The Shadbala of the Sun
The total Shadbala score for Sun is 416.1. When we look at the Shadbala of the Sun we find the following: Sthana 81%, Dig 126%, Kala 78%, Ayana 194%, Chesta 116%, and Drig -26.
The Sun has great strength in its capacity for helping Kahlo deal with conflicts (Ayana), guide her toward fulfillment (Dig), and stand confidently in her body (Chesta). There is some weakness in the Sun’s capacity for integrity (Sthana) and for working her Sun during its Dashas (Kala) but this will only hurt her about 20% of the time. What is more troubling is the Sun’s Drig Bala score of -26, which tells us that Kahlo will experience great difficulty with Sun-related agendas. A negative Drig Bala score indicates the planet will have trouble achieving its agendas because planets with stronger Drig Bala will have a greater capacity to push their agendas through at the expense of planets weaker in Drig Bala.
The yoga judgment score of the Sun is +10.6/-2.9, telling us that the Bhava Yogas of the lord of the 1st being in the 12th will be strongly positive. Kahlo’s personality was transcendental and spiritual. She will be inspired to focus the direction of her path towards the inspirations of her dreams and imagination, receiving great benefits from solitude and contemplation. There will be a strong ambition toward liberation and a willingness to sacrifice whatever is necessary to achieve that goal.
Jupiter is with the Sun and is in its place of exaltation in the 12th. This tells us that Jupiter will give powerful manifesting strength to the agendas of both the 12th and the Sun by bestowing wisdom, wealth, and grace to this area of life. Jupiter rules the 5th and 8th Houses, and its presence with the Lagna lord tells us that 5th House themes of creativity and creative self-expression (painting in particular) and 8th House themes of other people’s money, breaks and changes, and love affairs will line the path of Kahlo’s bodily experience.
Jupiter is giving the Sun 409.9 points of delight that will increase creativity, knowledge, and joy in one’s aspirations. This will boost Kahlo’s self-esteem by fostering a greater sense of one’s inspiration in relation to the greater scheme of life.
Rahu is also with the Sun and its placement tells us that there will be confusion and insecurity with their sense of individuality. Outwardly, Kahlo will seem to be confident and willful, exhibiting all the charismatic magnetism typical of a Leo Ascendant. But inwardly, these qualities are missing and their outward expression stems more from a desire to actually embody those traits rather than actually innately possessing them.
The presence of Rahu with the Sun, who is both the Lagna lord and natural karaka of the self, indicates this life is a very deep and profound developmental experience for her.
Sun is in the house of Kahlo’s Atmakaraka, the Moon. Kahlo’s Moon aspects its own sign from the 10th of Taurus, its Moolatrikona sign. The Moon is waning, indicating that her outer world will recede and give way to more inner explorations.
Moon is giving 469.1 points of delight to the Sun, giving the Sun a greater capacity to be open to possibilities. The Moon will give charisma to the Sun, making Kahlo both sensitive to the needs of others and capable of validating those needs to them.
Saturn is the only negative impact on the Sun. Saturn is hitting Sun with 267.2 points. Which is taking the Sun down to 149.0 points. Saturn isn’t destroying the Sun, but it is making a noticeable impact by creating a Thirst Avashta. This is going to generate a lack of self-esteem and confidence with one’s hidden emotions and sexual intimacy, which can make one vulnerable in regard to their emotional defenses. This is going to negatively impact Kahlo’s ability to manage her emotional and intimate world intelligently. This can lead potentially to overcompensating behavior or taking the initiative at the wrong time. Because this is a thirst, it will take the form of a kind of gnawing feeling that she just won’t be able to shake.
The 2nd House: Virgo
Virgo will bring a quality of skillfulness and meticulousness to the 2nd House of one’s ability to provide for oneself in life.
Venus and Saturn are the only planets rasi aspecting the 2nd House.
Venus will bring a strong influence of harmony and balance to the House of family, friends, and speech. As ruler of both the 3rd and 10th, Venus will influence the 2nd through themes of professional success, activity in the world, siblings and peers, and authority figures. These relationships will help bring resources and self-worth to Kahlo.
Saturn will influence the 2nd through restriction, perseverance, and weakness. As ruler of the 6th and 7th Houses, Saturn will cause separation through health, enemies, spouse, and sexual desires. These House indications will negatively impact Kahlo’s sense of security and self-worth.
The 2nd Lord: Mercury
Mercury is in the 1st House in a great friend’s dignity. Mercury’s placement will tie the 2nd and 11th Houses to the 1st, making the themes of these Houses a part of Kahlo’s bodily experience. Mercury is in a Kumara state and is Svapna, indicating the karmas associated with it are almost fully grown and are starting to come into her conscious awareness.
Saturn and Venus rasi aspect the 2nd House.
Saturn will bring 6th and 7th House affairs to the 2nd. Delays, illness, relationships, and one’s spouse will be part of their 2nd House experience of self-worth and values.
Venus rules the 3rd and 11th House. Siblings, skills, social relationships, and desires will be part of Kahlo’s 2nd House of family, speech, and gathering resources.
The Shadbala of Mercury
The total Shadbala score for Mercury is 517.9. When we look at the Shadbala of Mercury we find the following: Sthana 138%, Dig 154%, Kala 120%, Ayana 179%, Chesta 94%, and Drig -24.
Mercury is Kahlo’s strongest planet in Shadbala. Mercury’s lowest score is its Chesta Bala, which still will give positive results 9.4 out of 10 times. Only in Drig Bala does Mercury fall short significantly indicating that Mercury isn’t strong enough to push through its agendas with any degree of satisfaction.
The yoga judgment score of Mercury is +18.9/-0.7, indicating that the Bhava Yogas for the lord of the 2nd going into the 1st will be positive. There will be a strong sense of self-worth tied to her ability to meet her responsibilities as well as a strong identification with her personal property. Kahlo took great pride in decorating and maintaining her home. This Yoga also gives individuals beautiful eyes and a beautiful mouth. Kahlo painted primarily self-portraits, making her appearance an important part of her legacy. She is one of the most recognized artists in the world.
Sun is giving Mercury 416.1 points of delight. Mercury is only delighted by the Sun when it is in Leo. Mercury being delighted by the Sun in Leo indicates a person is focused on searching for truth along a very narrow path of one’s own experience. This makes Kahlo very realistic in her values and ideals. Friendships are very satisfying because they are seen with realistic expectations and a sense of loyalty and commitment.
Moon is hurting Mercury, giving it 169.0 points of starvation. When Moon starves Mercury it can make a person be demanding of their friendships. Their ego is tied to their friendships, which can make them very one-sided and bossy. Sun will help to mitigate this but it will still be a part of Kahlo’s relationship with her friends.
Venus is helping a little, giving 35.7 points of delight to Mercury. When Venus delights Mercury it brings a soothing and charming capacity toward one’s friendships. While the aspect of Venus is small, it will further help mitigate the negative Avashta of the Moon.
Because Mars and Ketu are negatively rasi aspecting Mercury in the 1st House, there will be frustration to the Houses Mercury rules, which are the 2nd House of resources and the 11th House of gains. No matter how skillful she is in working these houses, ultimately the drive and will she puts towards these areas just won’t bring the fulfillment she is seeking. The failure to achieve these aspirations will be felt as a personal failure due to Mars and Ketu directing this energy to the 1st House.
The Hora
Mercury is in a great friend’s dignity in the D2. Mercury is being rasi aspected by Jupiter, Mars, and Rahu. Jupiter is debilitated, indicating trouble in feeling good about their wealth, in particular other people’s money. Rahu will add confusion to this. However, Mars is exalted, so there will be a strong capacity to overcome difficulties in meeting their responsibilities to achieve wealth.
Moon is in an enemy’s dignity and, like Mercury, is being influenced by Mars, Jupiter, and Rahu through their rasi aspect. This will affect Kahlo’s feeling of satisfaction around her capacity to meet her responsibilities. However, Sun is rasi aspecting the Moon, indicating there will be a level of consistency to meeting those responsibilities that is absent from the influence to Mercury.
Due to Kahlo’s chronic back issues, she was forced to rely more on the resources of others to meet her responsibilities. Saturn is placed in the 8th of income from others. Saturn is debts and expenses. While Saturn is in neutral dignity in the D2, it is being rasi aspected by Venus, whose friend’s dignity will help bring enough prosperity to make things comfortable.
Mercury rules the 8th, so the indications for it will influence how the 8th performs. From this, we can go a little further and see that while Jupiter’s dignity in the D2 tells us there wasn’t a lot of tangible money around and a lot of missed opportunities for wealth due to confusion from Rahu, there was a strong capacity to manage what wealth was had to meet one’s responsibilities.
The life of an artist is often feast or famine where there are times of relative wealth and times of sparseness. Frida’s husband, Diego, wasn’t financially minded. He often left checks he received from commissions uncashed. Frida took it upon herself to manage their finances. Her capacity to do this came from her own childhood experience of her mother having to manage the household and her father’s fluctuating profession as a photographer.
The 3rd House: Libra
Kahlo’s 3rd House is in Libra, which brings together the energies of balance, trade, and exchange with the 7th sign with the 3rd of learning, art, and peers.
Mercury and Moon are rasi aspecting the 3rd House.
Mercury will bring 2nd and 11th House energies to the 3rd, which means gains and wealth through the use of one’s skills and social relationships will shape Kahlo’s relationships with peers and associates.
Moon will bring 12th House energies to the 3rd, coloring the nature of one’s research towards the subconscious world or one’s imagination.
The 3rd Lord: Venus
Venus is in a great friend’s dignity in the 11th House. Venus in the 11th will bring 3rd and 10th House agendas into the House of gains and social relationships. Venus is in a Mrita state and is Svapna, which tells us that the karmas of Venus are extinguished and somewhat part of Kahlo’s conscious experience.
The Shadbala of Venus
The total Shadbala score for Venus is 356.7. When we look at the Shadbala of Venus we find the following: Sthana 146%, Dig 19%, Kala 57%, Ayana 148%, Chesta 39%, and Drig -17.
Venus has strength in its capacity for integrity (Sthana) and for meeting challenges to it (Ayana) but suffers weakness in its capacity to be confident (Chesta), provide guidance (Dig), and make use of Venusian periods (Kala). Overall, Kahlo will have trouble with Venusian-related agendas working out for her.
The yoga judgment score for Venus is +1.3/-20.4, which indicates that the Bhava Yogas for the ruler of the 3rd going into the 11th will be strongly negative. This will bring difficulty in getting recognized for one’s talents. The person will gain more recognition for being who they are than for the product of their talent. For most of her career, Kahlo was known more for her outspokenness and eccentric style than for her art and artistry.
Mercury is giving 517.9 points of delight to Venus. This delight will give Kahlo an imaginative and experimental nature that will always be looking for the next new and exciting thing. These are qualities that will boost the 3rd House of curiosity, boldness, and artistic abilities. Mercury delighting Venus will make the 3rd a fertile and ever-new area for life exploration.
The 3rd is also a house of desires and impulses When Mercury delights Venus, it can make one seek connection through sexual intercourse. Even though Kahlo was married to fellow artist, Diego Rivera, their marriage suffered from mutual infidelity. Kahlo herself was bisexual and her affairs were never long-lived as the ever-curious quality of Mercury will always propel her into the next liaison as the excitement of the current affair wanes.
Saturn is giving 335.8 points of delight to Venus. Saturn will give Kahlo contentment with her life path through the recognition that difficulties are just part of life and should be weighed with the pros and cons of life. However, because Saturn is also the planet of delays, getting to a place where one can embrace and accept this can take time.
Saturn also rasi aspects Venus. Saturn will influence Venus with qualities of persistence, endurance, and limitation.
Kahlo spent most of her life dealing with chronic health conditions. While these conditions limited her physical mobility, they did not get in the way of her painting. She developed adjustable easels so she could paint lying on her back in bed and sitting upright in a wheelchair.
The 4th House: Scorpio
Kahlo’s 4th House is in Scorpio. Scorpio is the sign of deeper emotions and feelings. The 4th House is one’s happiness and emotional atmosphere.
Mars, Jupiter, Sun, and Rahu rasi aspect the 4th House.
Mars is the lord of the 4th. Its aspect will strengthen the 4th and help its agendas to manifest well. Mars will bring openheartedness and courage to the 4th of emotional environment.
Jupiter will bring 5th and 8th qualities of creativity, love affairs, conjugal bonds, and intimacy to the 4th house of one’s domestic life and psychological well-being. Jupiter is exalted and it will also help to manifest the 4th by giving faith, optimism, and spiritual wisdom.
Sun will bring the energies of the 2nd House to the 4th, adding self-worth, values, and material security to the house of property and one’s home. Sun will bring vitality, confidence, and strength of character to the house of emotional identification.
The 4th Lord: Mars
Mars is exalted in the 6th House of Capricorn. Mars is in a Yuva state and is Jagrat, which tells us that the karmas associated with Mars have reached an adult state and are part of their conscious awareness.
Mars and Ketu rasi aspect the 4th House.
Mars will give the 4th House 5th and 9th House energies of creativity, integrity, spiritual practices, higher knowledge, and virtue.
Ketu with Mars creates a disruptive influence through their shared aspect. Triggering violent or injurious events or situations.
The Shadbala of Mars
The total Shadbala score for Mars is 371.6. When we look at the Shadbala of Mars we find the following: Sthana 150%, Dig 52%, Kala 139%, Ayana 9%, Chesta 147%, and Drig 41.
Mars is strong in its capacity for integrity (Sthana), confidence (Chesta), and making the most of its time periods (Kala). Mars will also have no trouble in fulfilling all its agendas (Drig). However, Mars struggles significantly in its capacity to give guidance (Dig) and has almost no capacity to meet the challenges (Ayana).
The yoga judgment of Mars is strong +6.9/-1.2, which indicates the Bhava Yogas of the lord of the 4th being in the 6th will be strongly positive. This will bring material happiness to Kahlo by creating an uplifting home environment where she is free to be herself. Of interest here is that Kahlo’s mother taught her from an early age how to manage and maintain her home environment. Having the ruler of the 4th going into the 6th can bring influences from the mother into one’s daily routines.
Sun is bringing 416.1 points of delight to Mars. Sun is going to help Mars focus by giving it a goal to strive for. This could take the form of authority figures who support and encourage a person’s ambitions. Kahlo benefited greatly from her social, artistic, and political relationships that encouraged her talent and creativity.
Moon brings 298.3 points of delight to Mars. Moon will help Mars by uniting a person’s willpower with their sense of self-expression, which will bring confidence to actions.
Jupiter is giving Mars 313.7 points of delight. Jupiter will give Mars a broader perspective upon which to view things. Jupiter will help manifest happiness by framing one’s activities and actions in a greater philosophy that validates one’s freedom of expression.
Mercury is hurting Mars, hitting it with 121.9 points of starvation. When Mercury starves Mars, the natural ability of Mars to react instinctively becomes clouded by too many options. Mars second-guesses itself because it is too focused on what the rules are instead of doing what is right at the moment.
The 5th House: Sagittarius
Having the 5th House in Sagittarius blends together the 5th of creativity and mental intelligence with the sign of ideals and purpose.
Saturn and Venus rasi aspect the 5th House.
Saturn will bring 6th and 7th House qualities to Kahlo’s 5th House experience. Sexual passions, married life, jealous people, and working relationships will be part of their 5th House experience of love affairs and the art of painting.
Venus will color the 5th with 3rd and 10th House themes of skills, fine art, fame, public prominence, and success through one’s efforts.
The 5th Lord: Jupiter
Jupiter is placed in the 12th House of Cancer and is exalted. Jupiter is in Kumara state and is Svapna, which means that the karmas associated with Jupiter are young and starting to come into the individual’s conscious awareness.
The Shadbala of Jupiter
The total Shadbala score for Jupiter is 409.9. When we look at the Shadbala of Jupiter we find the following: Sthana 108%, Dig 138%, Kala 104%, Ayana 191%, Chesta 3%, and Drig -26.
Jupiter is strong in its Shadbala except in its capacity for confidence (Chesta) and in having Jupiterian-related agendas work out satisfactorily (Drig). Otherwise, Jupiter will have little difficulty in acting with integrity (Sthana), giving guidance (Dig), making the most of its planetary periods, (Kala), and meeting challenges (Ayana).
The yoga judgment score for Jupiter is +9.3/-3.7, indicating that the Bhava Yogas for having the 5th lord in the 12th House will be strongly positive. This will give Kahlo a great capacity for transcendental contemplation. She will naturally be drawn to spiritual knowledge and dream states. Kahlo’s art was very dreamlike. Its surrealism reflected themes of her mortality and confinement due to her chronic physical conditions.
Sun is giving 416.1 points of delight to Jupiter. Sun delighting Jupiter gives the individual a greater sense of purpose that will help them accomplish more because they have a greater capacity to manage things intelligently and consistently.
But Sun is also causing some thirst and agitation. This will make the person feel restricted and unable to walk the path of their inspiration. Jupiter still has the capacity to give positive results but there will be an uncomfortableness around its expression that will limit it, which will create inconsistency.
Moon brings 469.1 points of delight to Jupiter. Moon will align one’s wisdom and beliefs with one’s consciousness.
Moon also rasi aspects Jupiter. The aspect of the waning Moon will mean that outer growth will decline over time while inner growth is being stimulated.
Mars gives 371.6 points of delight to Jupiter. Mars will give Jupiter the capacity to know the fastest and most efficient direction to take. It will give the ability to understand things logically and quickly.
The 6th House: Capricorn
Kahlo’s 6th House is in Capricorn. Having the 6th House in Capricorn combines the energies of the house of health, disease, obstacles, and the state of bodily functions with the sign of practicality, seclusion, obstacles, success over time, and feelings around security.
Mars and Ketu are placed in the 6th House. Mars is being rasi aspected by Mercury and the Moon.
Mars in Capricorn is in its place of exaltation. Mars will bring 4th and 9th House themes of family bonds, domestic matters, grace, and deeper insights strongly into the 6th.
Ketu in the 6th indicates the individual has developed strong outer security in the world at the expense of strong inner security. Ketu will “liberate” the individual from their attachment to external security through debts, obstacles, illness, and disease in order to promote the development of inner strength.
Mars and Ketu together indicate the potential for injury as both of these planets are cruel and potentially violent.
The 6th Lord: Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces in an enemy’s dignity, which means that Saturn will have trouble in its capacity to give perseverance and deal with delays and setbacks. Saturn is in a Bala state and is Svapna, which means the karmas associated with Saturn are new and are just starting to come into a person’s conscious experience.
The Shadbala of Saturn
The total Shadbala score for Saturn is 432.8. When we look at the Shadbala of Saturn we find the following: Sthana 135%, Dig 159%, Kala 162%, Ayana 156%, Chesta 88%, and Drig 72.
Saturn is strong in integrity (Sthana), giving guidance, making the most of its planetary periods, and dealing with conflicts (Ayana). It’s Chesta Bala is weak, but its score indicates that its capacity to stand confidently will only fail Kahlo 12% of the time. Saturn has a strong Dig Bala score, indicating that overall, Saturn’s agendas will work out well for Kahlo.
Saturn is weak in its yoga judgment score +3.3/-6.4, indicating that the Bhava Yogas of having the lord of the 6th going into the 8th will be strongly negative. This will make the individual sickly and make one prone to illness, accidents, and serious injuries.
Saturn is being hit by the Sun to 159.3 points of thirst. Sun’s thirst makes it difficult for one to bear one’s life burdens. Sun’s thirst makes one painfully aware of their weaknesses, which will get in the way of trying to correct and move past those liabilities. It can be very difficult for the person to endure their sufferings in silence and with acceptance.
Mars is causing 223.5 points of thirst to Saturn as well. The thirst coming from Mars will generate feelings that one is falling behind. Mars will magnify any weaknesses one inherently feels from Saturn. Because this takes place in the 6th house of delays, there will be a lot of frustration and discomfort in the delays Kahlo experiences in the course of her everyday life.
The deterioration of Kahlo’s right leg from contracting Polio was a lifelong source of insecurity for her. She began to wear traditional Mexican skirts partly because of her interest in expressing her cultural heritage but also because the long skirt hid her weakened leg.
Mercury is helping Saturn, giving it 297.3 points of delight. Mercury will help Kahlo deal with the thirst Saturn suffers by giving support from one’s friends and one’s community. We have already found Kahlo benefited greatly from her social relationships to help build her career success and recognition, but here we see it also gave her comfort during times when poor health and obstacles negatively impacted her.
Venus is also helping Saturn, but its 79.9 points of delight can only help lessen the sting of thirst from the Sun and Mars. Venus will help Kahlo feel a degree of appreciation for her success. Because the 6th is a House of increase, over time Venus will help Kahlo feel a little more at peace with her life accomplishments.
Trimsamsa D30
Saturn is in its own house in the D30, giving strength to one’s longevity. However, Saturn is being rasi aspected by both Mars in its own house and Sun in the D30. This will hurt Saturn and make one prone to accidents and surgeries due to the strong rasi aspect of Mars. Sun and Saturn aspecting each other is a negative influence to both in general. In the D30, this will affect a person’s vitality and longevity, withering one’s body over time through chronic disease.
Sun rules the 6th house in the D30. The afflictions to it as the lord will impact the 6th house. While the 6th is benefiting from a rasi aspect from Mercury in the D30, Saturn is also hitting it. Mercury’s lord in the D30, Venus, is also being hit by both Sun and Mars, indicating that in regard to aspect, Saturn will have the upper hand. This tells us Kahlo suffered chronic illness and lameness and it is these adversities would be part of her everyday environment.
When Kahlo was 7, she contracted polio which resulted in her right leg becoming weakened and prone to infection to such an extent that it was eventually amputated when she 46. The spinal injuries Kahlo suffered in the bus accident at age 18 resulted in chronic pain and mobility issues. Despite numerous surgeries, the pain and debilitation worsened over the course of Kahlo’s life.
Yogas of the 6th House
The 6th, 8th, and 12th Houses are Dusthana Houses, houses of suffering. Because these Houses deal with themes of debts, illness, death, confinement, and loss, they are considered inauspicious houses. Analysis of these houses often reveals challenges that will shape the quality of a person’s life experience.
There are some important Dusthana Yogas in Kahlo’s chart that, while general in their description, are great examples of how these Yogas can have a powerful influence on the life trajectory of an individual.
“If Mars or Ketu is in the 6th or 8th there is danger from injury or ulcer.”
“A planet in the 6th house afflicted gives trouble to the limb represented by the afflicted planet: Mars- feet.”
Frida’s right leg was weakened from polio that she contracted at age 7. The weakness left her leg prone to conditions like venous ulcers and gangrene that plagued her later years.
Kahlo experienced a serious bus accident when she was 18 years old where Kahlo was impaled when a handrail pierced her pelvis and uterus. The accident also resulted in spinal injuries that would plague Kahlo for the rest of her life.
When we view these two Dusthana Yogas in the context of what we have already found through our analysis of the 6th House, we see how a couple of simply stated Yogas are qualified and magnified through planetary influences, becoming significant “yokes” in Kahlo’s life experience.
The 7th House: Aquarius
Aquarius brings energies of idealism and social activities to the 7th House of relationships. This combines long-term partnerships with one’s ambitions and desires for the future.
Jupiter, Sun, and Rahu aspect the 7th House.
Jupiter brings the 5th and 8th House affairs to the 12th. Themes of creative expression and chronic illness will be a part of Kahlo’s 12th House experience of confinement, imagination, and loss.
Sun will bring 1st House qualities of the body and one’s identity to the 12th House of dissolution.
Rahu will stimulate the need for inner security through one’s long-term relationships. As the outer security of these relationships is broken, Kahlo will be pushed to look inside for inner surefootedness.
The 7th Lord: Saturn
As with our exploration of Saturn as the 6th lord, Saturn is in an enemy’s dignity in Pisces. This means that there will be misery or discontentment around the agendas of Saturn and the karmas associated with it are new and are just starting to come into Kahlo’s conscious awareness.
Saturn has a good Shadbala score overall when we explored it in regards to the 6th and Saturn’s agendas will work out well for Kahlo. Unfortunately, Saturn is weak in its yoga judgment score of +3.3/-6.4, indicating that the Bhava Yogas of having the lord of the 7th going into the 8th will give more negative than positive effects. This creates constant turmoil and crisis around one’s relationships. There will be problems and sudden changes in one’s partnerships that will take a toll on one’s vitality.
Frida and Diego’s marriage was filled with mutual infidelity. Their on-again-off-again romance ultimately led to their divorce in 1939, only to reconcile and remarry in 1940.
Sun is hitting Saturn with 159.3 points of thirst. This will generate feelings of insecurity around individuals who Kahlo sees as authority figures. Diego was 20 years Kahlo’s senior and a very established and successful artist. Although he encouraged Kahlo’s artistry, when Sun thirsts Saturn there will be a need to be the best at everything. It creates an individual who acts as if they have no weakness. They will have a lack of humility. In a 1933 interview to promote Diego, Kahlo introduced herself as the “greatest painter in the world”.[1]
Mars is causing 223.5 points of thirst to Saturn, which is going to make Kahlo feel that she isn’t getting enough out of her relationships. In particular, a lack of deeper connection from sexual pleasures.
Clandestine relationships are associated with the 12th House. Kahlo was unfaithful to Diego and these affairs were with both men and women. Her lovers were political activists and fellow artists, individuals whom she appreciated and desired appreciation from.
Mercury is giving it 297.3 points of delight to Saturn. The delight of Mercury will help Saturn by providing support from one’s friends and one’s community. Kahlo’s infidelities had an element of play to them. Mercury as ruler of games frames these infidelities in a “playful” light by Kahlo, initiated and terminated on a whim.
Venus is also helping Saturn, but its 79.9 points of delight can only help lessen the sting of thirst from the Sun and Mars. Venus will help to give an appreciation to those the individual loves, in spite of any shortcomings those lovers have.
Saptamsa D7
Saturn is in an enemy’s dignity in the D7. Saturn is benefitting from a rasi aspect from exalted Mercury, which will help relationships manifest in Kahlo’s life and give her the capacity to manage that relationship well. But, Saturn also suffers from a rasi aspect from Rahu in the D7, which is going to cause confusion and result in cravings and desires that can pull her into sexual experimentation. Ketu also rasi aspects Saturn in the D7, creating frustration and obsessions around creativity as a spiritual experience.
Kahlo engaged in bisexuality and extramarital affairs with individuals whom she saw as her creative and intellectual peers. Such liaisons could be viewed in the context of “chasing the muse of creativity”, a common rationale of many artists who engage in such activities as an exploration of their creative expression.
Jupiter is in neutral dignity in the D7. Jupiter is with a Moolatrikona Moon, indicating her capacity to receive creative inspiration and create a legacy that will live on after her were strong. However, the rasi aspect from Mars in Libra tells us that this legacy will suffer from a lack of understanding of the principles she was trying to impart through her work.
Sun is exalted in the D7 and it is being rasi aspected by Venus indicating that one’s creative spirit will be sustained through the enjoyment of intercourse. Kahlo’s liaisons had the potential to support her creativity. However, with Venus it is all about balance. Venus in an enemy’s dignity in the D7 indicates these liaisons often did more harm than good in this regard by causing more distraction than offering inspiration.
The 8th House: Pisces
Kahlo’s 8th House is in Pisces. The 8th House is breaks, changes, death, and the occult. Pisces is the sign of liberation, self-realization, and dreams.
Saturn is placed in the 8th House. Saturn is being rasi aspected by Venus.
Saturn brings 6th and 7th House agendas into Kahlo’s 8th. Spouses, partnerships, illnesses, and accidents will be a part of her 8th House expression of sudden breaks and changes.
Venus will bring qualities of both the 3rd and 10th Houses to the 8th House. Legs and ankles, ambitions, cars, trains, buses, achievements, and status will be tied to the 8th of chronic conditions and legacies.
The 8th Lord: Jupiter
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and the karmas associated with it are young and are just starting to come into Kahlo’s conscious awareness. When we explored Jupiter as lord of the 5th, we found trouble with its capacity for confidence and Jupiterian-related agendas working out satisfactorily. However, Jupiter was strong in every other area of strength. Jupiter’s yoga judgment score is +9.3/-3.7, indicating that the Bhava Yogas for having the 8th lord in the 12th House will be strongly positive. This will give Kahlo a wonderful capacity for detachment and renunciation. Kahlo will have a strong capacity for spiritual freedom and spiritual transcendence.
Sun is giving 416.1 points of delight to Jupiter. This will give Kahlo a greater capacity to manage intelligently the breaks and changes life gives. She will have a strong foundation upon which to build a sense of purpose around chronic illnesses.
But Sun is also causing some thirst and agitation. This will make the person feel restricted and unable to walk the path of their inspiration. Jupiter still has the capacity to give positive results but there will be times of uncomfortableness that will generate a lack of faith as one has trouble seeing the bigger picture around one’s illnesses.
Moon is giving 469.1 points of delight to Jupiter, which will reinforce inner emotional security and make one receptive to detachment and liberation.
Moon also rasi aspects Jupiter. Moon will give a nurturing quality to the spiritual and philosophical leanings of Jupiter by bringing comfort to those times of isolation and confinement.
Vimsamsa D20
Jupiter is in neutral dignity in the D20. Moon, Rahu, and Ketu all rasi aspect Jupiter from Cancer. Moon in its own house with Ketu in the D20 is a positive indication for spiritual receptivity and liberation, adding strength to her potential for a spiritual teacher in Jupiter. However, the presence of Rahu indicates that distractions and desires really got in the way of that potential.
Kahlo’s capacity for devotion is represented by Venus in the D20. Venus is in a friend’s dignity, but it is with Sun and Mars, which brought frustration and separation to her devotional path due to the quality of her experiences with places of worship and with her logic around religion.
Kahlo’s mother was a devout Catholic. Kahlo found her rigidity suffocating and lacking in rationality and her mother’s dogmatism left little room for Frida’s serious inquiries into spirituality.
The 9th House: Aries
The 9th House is in Aries. Aries is initiating and action-oriented. The 9th represents one’s intellectual convictions and philosophical principles.
Mercury rasi aspects the 9th House. This brings the agendas of the 2nd and 11th to the 9th House. Wealth, accumulation of resources, ambitions, and desires will be part of the expression of the 9th of wealth, purpose, destiny, and fortune.
The 9th Lord: Mars
Mars is in the 6th House of Capricorn where it is exalted. In our exploration of Mars as ruler of the 6th House we found Mars strong in its capacity for integrity, confidence, making the most of its time periods and fulfilling its agendas. But this will have trouble in its capacity to give guidance and to meet life’s challenges.
The karmas of Mars are fully awake and an active part of Kahlo’s life experience. Mars has a strong yoga judgment score of +6.9/-1.2, which indicates the Bhava Yogas of the lord of the 9th being in the 6th will be strongly positive. This will give Kahlo a strong sense of moral principles and a strong capacity to defend one’s culture. Kahlo embraced her Mexican heritage, by incorporating its art and fashion into her personal identity. She embraced her indigenous culture by personifying Mexicanidad, a 20th-century movement that celebrated Mexican traditions.
Sun is bringing 416.1 points of delight to Mars. Sun is going to help Mars focus on the purest ideals to aspire to, which will help Kahlo to live and express her beliefs courageously.
Moon brings 298.3 points of delight to Mars. Moon will empower Mars by aligning its independence with its individualized consciousness. The Moon will make Mars highly capable of adjusting one’s convictions to meet the challenges and misfortunes of life.
Jupiter is giving Mars 313.7 points of delight. Jupiter supports Mars by giving a higher perspective for Mars to frame its actions, which gives Mars validation and confidence.
Mars is being hurt by Mercury, receiving 121.9 points of starvation. When Mercury starves Mars, a person can become too rigid on rules being followed, which causes frustration when the reality of a situation doesn’t fit with one’s expectations.
Navamsa D9
Mars is in an enemy’s dignity in the D9. This indicates Frida will have trouble with compromise in marriage. There is going to be difficulty in knowing what path will be the right one. Mars is with Mercury and its lord, Venus. Venus in its Own Sign of Taurus in the D9 tells us that Kahlo had a good capacity for having a marriage based on lasting principles.
Mars indicates our hunger for our passions and Venus represents those passions finding their fulfillment. Mercury adds a capacity for the individual to relate to their partner. This is a very dynamic and expressive combination.
Frida and Diego had a tumultuous marriage filled with infidelities on both sides. Yet, there was also an understanding between them that smoothed over activities that would normally implode a marriage. Venus also rules the 9th cusp indicating that despite its difficulties, there was an underlying devotion to her marriage that kept their relationship going.
Jupiter is debilitated in the D9. As the karaka of Frida’s husband, Jupiter debilitated indicates that there was perhaps an overly optimistic sense of purpose and joy in regard to her expectations for marriage.
The 10th House: Taurus
The 10th House is in Taurus. The 10th is a house of practicality and professional achievements. Taurus brings skills in business, practicality, and harmony to the 10th.
Moon resides in Taurus. Moon is being rasi aspected by Sun, Jupiter, and Rahu.
Moon will bring 12th House qualities of growing material detachment and institutions to the House of activity in the world and achievements.
Sun brings 1st House energies of one’s personality and self-projection to the House of public prominence and status.
Jupiter will color the 10th House of one’s career with 5th House qualities of creativity and 8th House qualities of gains through one’s partner.
Rahu will influence the 10th by creating confusion around one’s efforts toward professional success and career.
The 10th Lord: Venus
When analyzing Venus as lord of the 3rd, we found Venus strong in integrity and in meeting challenges but scored low in every other Shadbala strength, making it difficult for Venusian-ruled agendas to be successful. We also saw that the karmas of Venus are extinguished and are peripherally a part of Kahlo’s conscious experience.
Venus’ strongly negative yoga judgment score (+1.3/-20.4) tells us that, even though in a great friend’s dignity, the Bhava Yogas for the ruler of the 10th going into the 11th will be strongly negative. This will make Kahlo lose sight of purpose due to the pursuit of ego-centered desires. The person wastes their energy trying to promote the desires of others over their own. Kahlo managed Diego’s career and finances, often sacrificing time she could have spent developing her own career and status.
Mercury is giving 517.9 points of delight to Venus. This delight makes one very capable of managing others and their affairs. Mercury will give Venus excitement and the joy of imagination and creativity. This can make one’s activities in the world prolific but also Mercurial, subject to change.
Saturn is giving 335.8 points of delight to Venus. Saturn will give delays in establishing Kahlo’s career, but there will be an appreciation of that career once it finally arrives by making it feel worth the wait. Saturn will help not only Venus but also Mercury by giving both the capacity to stay the course when things become tedious and boring.
Dasamsa D10
Venus is in a great friend’s dignity in the D10. Venus is with Saturn, its lord. This combination will bring diplomacy and a strong work ethic to Kahlo’s activities in the world. Saturn in a Moolatrikona dignity will give her the capacity to endure the hardships and delays to her career and status in the world. Ketu’s presence represents one’s inner critic. Ketu’s placement with a Moolatrikona lord and Venus in great friend’s dignity tells us that Kahlo’s inner critic was balanced and realistic.
Sun is in neutral dignity in the D10 and is being rasi aspected by Moon in an enemy’s dignity. Moon is waning, so visibility and popularity will tend to decline over time. In her later years, health issues forced Kahlo to withdraw from activity in the world.
Saturn and Venus also rasi aspect the Sun in the D10. This influence is going bring delays to the gains one receives from doing great deeds. While Venus will help to smooth this over somewhat, the separation of Saturn will make her fall short of her inspirations as Saturn in the D10 also represents a fall from a position.
Mercury rules the 10th cusp in the D10. The 10th cusp is the concrete activity. Mercury is in a great friend’s dignity in Libra in the D10. Mercury is being rasi aspected by Mars, Saturn, and Venus. Mars will bring Kahlo frustration from individuals who are perceived as coming from of higher class. Saturn will bring separation through a fall.
Between 1932 and 1932, Diego was commissioned to create a high profile mural for Rockefeller Center in New York City. This brought Diego and Frida to the United States. Frida’s exotic and charismatic persona drew the attention of American high society, which was composed mainly of rich industrial capitalists. Marxist Kahlo grew increasingly repulsed by the idea of mingling with such people who could have potentially boosted her career. Diego eventually was fired when the Rockefeller Center mural included many images and themes that promoted Soviet Communism over Western Capitalism.
Venus rasi aspecting Mercury in the D10 will help bring balance. Upon their return to Mexico in 1934, Frida and Diego returned to their familiar political and artistic circles.
Jupiter is the only planet rasi aspecting the 10th cusp in the 10th. Jupiter is in neutral dignity, which means its capacity to manifest 10th House agendas will be average or mediocre. This tells us that Jupiter will bring the enjoyment of exercising her power and authority to do her great deeds in the world only to an average degree.
The 11th House: Gemini
Kahlo’s 11th House is in Gemini. Gemini gives a foundation of communication and talent to the 11th House of gains and friendship.
Venus is placed in the 11th House, which will tie the agendas of the 3rd and 10th Houses to the 11th. Qualities such as initiative, firmness of personality, fame, and professional success will be a part of the goals and gains Kahlo receives in life.
Saturn rasi aspects the 11th House. Saturn will give strength of perseverance and discipline to the 11th House.
The 11th Lord: Mercury
Mercury is in the 1st House in a great friend’s dignity. This will tie Kahlo’s body and personality to the 11th House, making it a fundamental part of her identity and life trajectory. Kahlo benefits from many social and political relationships and was active in socialist and nationalist organizations.
In our exploration of Mercury as lord of the 2nd, we found Mercury in a great friend’s dignity and its karmas almost fully grown and starting to come into Kahlo’s conscious awareness.
Mercury is strong in Shadbala, only lacking in its capacity to fulfill its overall life agendas.
Mercury’s yoga judgment is +18.9/-0.7, telling us that the Bhava Yogas for the lord of the 11th going into the 1st will be strongly positive. This will make it very easy for Kahlo to make friends and build social relationships. It will make her skillful in networking and gaining support from others.
Sun is giving Mercury 416.1 points of delight. Sun gives Mercury loyalty and commitment in regard to a person’s friendships. Sun gives reality and reliability to the investigative side of Mercury, making for a captivating and engaging person who speaks with a sense of authority.
Moon is hurting Mercury, giving it 169.0 points of starvation. Moon can make Mercury take things too personally and prone to becoming too involved in the lives and business of others. This can get in the way of friendships as the truth one speaks becomes muddied in ego and opinion instead of from a detached perspective.
Venus is helping a little by giving 35.7 points of delight to Mercury, which will give the capacity to be soothing in their charm to defuse any tension between others.
Mars and Ketu are rasi aspecting Mercury, which will bring frustration to Kahlo’s life around new ideas that challenge her into exploring new rationales of thinking. While this influence will make her skillful and combative in debate, it can also push her into social circles that are less open to new ideas and more open to validating ideas one has already formed.
Mars and Ketu together can also bring violent breaks and injuries. The sudden nature of these breaks and traumas can, by their violent nature, make it difficult to open oneself up to new ways of thinking about the nature of why things happen in a person’s life that seemingly have no logic to them.
The 12th House: Cancer
Kahlo’s 12th House is in Cancer. Cancer represents one’s home and emotional environment. The 12th represents institutions, confinement, and liberation.
Jupiter, Sun, and Rahu are all placed in the 12th House. The Moon rasi aspects its own house from Taurus, its Moolatrikona sign.
Moon rasi aspecting its own home in great dignity will help manifest 12th House affairs strongly.
Jupiter in Cancer is exalted, adding another strong capacity for the successful manifestation of 12th House affairs. Jupiter will bring belief systems and a capacity to see things from a larger perspective to the 12th of self-realization and liberation.
Sun is a natural indicator of the individual. It is also the 1st lord, making it a double significator of the self. Sun is going to bring a focus on the dissolution of worldly and bodily concerns toward higher aspirations.
Rahu in the 12th indicates that in this life, Kahlo was letting go of material concerns and struggles by surrendering attachment to efforts of trying to improve their life. One must play the cards one is dealt and perform all actions without any expectation for results. This can result in a desire to escape by engaging in sexual trysts, addictions, and excessive spending.
The 12th Lord: Moon
Moon is in the 10th House of Taurus and is in Moolatrikona. Moon is in a Bala state and is Jagrat, indicating the karmas associated with it are new and fully part of Kahlo’s conscious experience. Moon is waning, which means it will decrease its effects over time in order to promote inner growth in the individual.
The Shadbala of the Moon
The total Shadbala score for Moon is 469.1. When we look at the Shadbala of the Moon we find the following: Sthana 229%, Dig 5%, Kala 107%, Ayana 10%, Chesta 49%, Drig -15.
Moon is strong in its capacity for integrity (Sthana), direction (Dig), and in being able to make use of the Moon during its periods (Kala). However, there is a weakness in staying the course of one’s path (Ayana) and in being able to work the Moon with confidence (Chesta). The Moon’s low Drig Bala score indicates the Moon will not be strong enough during her Moon Dasha to push its agendas through when planets stronger with stronger Drig Bala scores are being activated.
The yoga judgment score of the Moon is decisively negative, +0.5/-15.5. This tells us that the Bhava Yogas of the ruler of the 12th in the 10th will be completely negative. Kahlo will suffer from many expenses that get in the way of career success and drain her energy. Kahlo relied heavily on her husband, Diego’s income. Diego himself had little interest in finances, often leaving checks he received unopened in the envelopes for months. Kahlo took it upon herself to act as Diego’s accountant, which took time and energy from efforts at developing her own career.
The Moon is the Atmakaraka, the indicator of the self or soul, The Moon is an important planet for chart analysis because the Moon represents one’s emotions and expression of consciousness. The Moon is a sensitive planet for a Leo Ascendant because, depending upon its dignity, it can influence the level of empathy in a person.
Kahlo’s Moon is waning, which means the external aspects will tend to diminish while the internal life experience will expand. The 12th is a house of dissolution, liberation, dreams, and imagination. We find confluence again here with the indications of the 1st and themes of withdrawing from the world into a deeper inner sense and exploration of self. Another negative aspect of the Bhava Yoga for the ruler of the 12th in the 10th is difficulty in understanding true renunciation. When combining these indications with the placement of Rahu it isn’t hard to deduce that this was an area of life that caused great confusion and trouble for Kahlo.
Mercury is bringing 28.6 points of delight to the Moon. Mercury will bring delight from friends, which can fill the time of a person’s life with pleasant conversation and joyful moments.
Jupiter, Sun, and Rahu rasi aspect the Moon and are placed in its House, which means these planets will color the Moon and the agendas it rules.
Jupiter colors the Moon with qualities of spirituality, creativity, and spiritual growth. 5th and 8th House energies of creativity, self-development, love affairs, death, sex, chronic illness, and hidden emotions will be part of Kahlo’s emotional environment of bed pleasures, dreams, confinement, and final liberation.
Sun colors the agendas of the 12th House and its lord by adding one’s 1st House strength of character and self-projection to Kahlo’s sense of self-expression and her hidden emotional world.
Rahu indicates uncertainty and confusion to Kahlo’s inner world. There is a lack of emotional centeredness that results in depression and discontentment. This opens her to psychic disorders and addictions as the pull to escape the real world and disappear into dreams and fantasies offers a chance at relief.
There is an emotional vulnerability that outsiders find compelling, yet the individual herself will be not grounded and secure enough to find enjoyment in relationships.
The placement of Rahu in the 12th will also influence Jupiter and the Sun. For the Sun, Rahu generates feelings of self-centeredness around creativity because there is an inner lack of security that fosters outer validation for one’s efforts. For Jupiter, Rahu creates feelings of discontentment around one’s direction in life.
Rahu’s impact on the Sun and Jupiter creates trouble with consistency as the individual is very focused on outer validation and, in its absence, the individual tends to lapse into inactivity or has trouble staying committed to the path.
The Dwadasamsha D12
The exploration of Karma is a very deep topic astrologically as there are innumerable Karmas tied to a single life experience. Since Karma means “action”, we will explore the Karmas of Frida Kahlo from the perspective of understanding the activities for which she was best known, as an artist.
Moon in the D12 is in an enemy’s dignity in the 12th House. Moon is with Rahu. This indicates that the primary Karmas Kahlo addressed in her life came strongly from her maternal ancestry. It is those Karmas that resulted in her incarnation.
Of note is the 11th House in the D12, which is the 12th from the 12th. We have Jupiter in its own house and Venus exalted. This indicates to us that both maternal and paternal grandparents were sources of joy for Kahlo. We also see the influence of the mother, represented by Mars, and the father, represented by the Sun, to the 11th through rasi aspect in the D12. This indicates that both mother and father will influence how this joy is passed on.
Frida’s father, Guillermo, was an immigrant from Germany. He became a photographer by learning the craft from his father-in-law, Frida’s maternal grandfather. Guillermo was also an amateur watercolor painter. The artistic influence from her father was significant as he would teach her techniques in both mediums that she would apply to her portrait painting. Here we see the influence of the maternal grandparent passing through her father, Guillermo, to influence Frida.
Frida’s mother, Matilde, was devoutly Catholic, a faith Frida herself could not adhere to. The lasting effect of Matilde’s influence on Frida was her Mexican heritage, which became a fixation for Frida. Frida would become one of the primary examples of the Mexicayotl or Mexicanidad movement, a campaign to revive the indigenous traditions of Mexico.
Frida’s style of painting echoes the Mexican tradition of retablos or votive paintings. These folk street art paintings depict themes involving the lives and exploits of the saints and martyrs of the Catholic Church and are designed to elicit grace and protection of these religious figures. Traditional retablos were painted by amateur artists who had limited skills in perspective and composition.
Kahlo took this traditional folk art style that was based on presenting elements of European Catholicism and re-appropriated it by making her identity as an indigenous Mexican the subject.
Conclusion
Frida Kahlo’s life is a rich resource for astrological study. Though her legacy is primarily as an artist, her life as a person is just as compelling as the life her art portrayed.
Kahlo’s life was the subject of her art and she portrayed that life in a visceral and unflinching way. Presenting her life in such a transparent and honest manner opens the door for others to look in and see and this makes her life an enriching and worthwhile study for astrologers.
